Starting in July 2025, I will be the Raymond Frankel Nuclear Security Policy Fellow at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, where my dissertation examined how U.S. public perceptions of nuclear war risk shape understandings of international security international security, perceptions of the role of nuclear weapons in US identity, and nuclear policy preferences. Prior to my current role, I served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (IPPRA), contributing to national security public opinion research and a joint Sandia National Laboratories-sponsored project on program management. I also worked as a researcher for The Partnership for Global Security on their Nuclear Readiness Initiative project. I also served as an intern for The Carter Center and the Department of State through the Virtual Student Federal Service. I am a 2025 Nuclear Scholar with the Center for Strategic and International Studies' Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI). I hold a B.A. and M.A. in International and Area Studies, with a concentration in Security Studies, from the University of Oklahoma. I speak French and Arabic.
